CETACEA

World-class skeleton preparation and exhibition
For two decades, Cetacea has been at the cutting edge of creating innovative marine mammal skeleton exhibits all over the world.  Our signature exhibits are set apart by the unique way in which we each project merges the disciplines of science, art and engineering to bring life to our subjects.  From flying raptor skeletons to the world's largest lunge-feeding blue whale skeletons, Cetacea exhibits have drawn thousands of visitors, captivating imaginations, inspiring curiosity and building connection.

Cetacea is unique in its field since each project is led by trained biologists and educators who are passionate about sharing our awe for the natural world.  Our exhibits are designed and articulated based on the most current scientific understanding.

As a small and highly specialized company, we offer professional and personalized service from start to finish.  We are able to carry out all aspects of projects in-house, or to consult.  We can support research, education and public outreach needs at any stage.  Our expertise ranges from conceptual and structural digital design, fine metalwork, engineering, building, sculpting, molding and casting, 3D printing, painting, scientific research, project management, writing and interpretive program development.  See examples of our exhibits here.
